Inside The Notary Blueprint® (TNB) Community, we’re proud to highlight Delphine “Moana” Agliam, founder of Agliam Agency & Mobile Notary LLC, as our July Member of the Month! Based in Wahiawa, Hawai’i on the island of O’ahu, Moana is a powerful example of patience, preparation, and purpose as she builds her business from the ground up, even before receiving her notary commission or stamping her first document.
Planting Seeds With Purpose
Moana is the definition of someone who moves with intention. As a future Mobile Notary and CEO of her own agency, she’s already laying the groundwork to serve clients across O’ahu, and eventually, the neighboring islands too.
“To be transparent, I am still waiting for my Notary Commission. The process for Hawai’i is very long… but I patiently wait because this is something I truly believe in.”
Even while awaiting her official commission, she hasn’t slowed down. Her agency officially launched in October 2024, and she’s preparing to offer a wide range of services including mobile notary, RON, I-9 verifications, apostille work, field inspections, and possibly even process serving as her business grows.
Taking The Leap
For Moana, becoming a notary was a long-time dream, one that finally became real after following Sierra (President and CEO of The Notary Blueprint) on social media and deciding to go all in.
“I kept following Sierra, and one day, I was like, ‘This is it. There will never be the right time, but that time was definitely the right time.’ I have no regrets about joining and waiting until my commission is confirmed.”
In the meantime, she continues to offer bookkeeping and tax preparation services, staying active in her business journey while she waits approval to begin notarizing.
Building a Business That Serves Her Community
Moana’s heart is rooted in service, and her vision is centered around meeting the needs of her local community.
“In this little town where I live, there are not enough resources for notary service.”
That’s exactly why she’s building her business to serve both small businesses and everyday residents in under-resourced areas. But she’s not rushing. She’s listening first.
“It is very important to find that niche that I can put first.I want to make sure what the niche is, is what the community needs.”
That intentionality is what sets her apart.
Patience, Preparation, and the Power of Readiness
Hawai’i’s longer application and commissioning process has been Moana’s biggest challenge so far but it hasn’t broken her spirit. Instead of waiting passively, she’s reframed the process as a time to build quietly, learn intentionally, and stay ready for when the doors officially open.
“During this waiting time, the best I can do is review all the training and be prepared when it’s that time to start.”
She's also taken practical steps like ordering marketing supplies, brushing up on training, researching community needs, and even referring her early clients to other notaries. A rare display of integrity and long-term thinking.
“It seemed to be the right thing to do during this wait time.”
Community and Commitment Inside The Notary Blueprint®
One thing that’s helped Moana stay grounded during this season is the support and encouragement she's found inside The Notary Blueprint® community.
“Being able to be in this community and learn and share with like-minded people.”
Since joining, Moana has become a familiar and inspiring presence by cheering others on, asking thoughtful questions, and sharing helpful insights, even while she’s still in the preparation phase. Her consistency reminds us that leadership doesn’t begin with a title, it begins with showing up.
She’s proof that progress doesn’t always start with a stamp. It starts with showing up, staying ready, and leaning into a community that helps you grow.
Big Goals, Bigger Dreams
Moana’s goals for this year are simple yet powerful: get her commission and hit $5,000 in revenue. But her vision goes way well beyond those early milestones. In the next 5 years, she hopes to grow her agency and eventually have a team working with her.
And the drive behind that dream?
“What motivates me is my family. My biggest dream is to buy our forever home. I want to leave this for my daughter and grandchildren.”
She’s fueled by purpose, surrounded by family support, and driven by a legacy that’s much bigger than herself.

Moana’s story is the reminder we all need: you don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to start moving forward. Whether you’re waiting on a commission, stuck in analysis paralysis, or overwhelmed by where to begin, there’s always something you can do to push the vision forward.
