Her business, Signature Solutions 365, reflects her belief that notarization should be accessible, efficient, and stress-free for everyone, whether they’re signing legal documents at home, in hospitals, or on college campuses.
How It All Began
For over 20 years, Teanna has worked in the dental field, where she continues to serve as an Office Manager. Her introduction to the notary world happened unexpectedly but purposefully.
She recalls,
“I stumbled across the notary business when my office went into a crisis of our company checks being forged and stolen. My doctor needed a notary, so I researched and became knowledgeable to help our office become more efficient in the process of getting our forged checks back.”
That moment sparked something powerful. Not only did she step up when her workplace needed her most but she discovered a passion for protecting people, simplifying stressful situations, and bringing clarity to important transactions.
From there, her notary journey began to grow. First through referrals, and now through clients across Atlanta who reach out simply because they trust her professionalism and warmth. This experience opened Teanna’s eyes to the power of notarization and the value of trustworthy professionals in handling critical transactions.
Building A Business With Purpose
Balancing a full-time job and entrepreneurship hasn’t always been easy, but Teanna approaches every challenge with gratitude and determination. She admits that her biggest obstacle has been availability by saying “Mainly me working full-time, just being more available to my clients.”
Her first client was none other than the same doctor who initially inspired her notary journey. From there, her business began to grow organically through word of mouth and satisfied repeat clients who appreciated her professionalism and personal touch.
Today, she continues to serve individuals, nursing homes, and living facilities, assisting with Powers of Attorney, Wills, and Trusts. These are documents that carry deep personal significance.
“It gives me so much pleasure to know that they are leaving behind their legacy with someone they chose and trust.”
Community Roots and Family Legacy
Teanna’s notary business, Signature Solutions 365, is truly a family affair. Her son, who is currently attending Morehouse College and studying to become an attorney, has joined her in the business. Together, they’ve expanded their reach by serving professors and students across Morehouse, Spelman, and Morris Brown College campuses.
“My son gives me the drive to want to help my community. We service professors on college campuses and only want to continue to broaden our reach across the metro Atlanta area.”
This powerful mother-son partnership is one of the most inspiring parts of Teanna’s journey. It represents legacy, leadership, and a shared commitment to serving their community.
Goals and Growth
For Teanna, success isn’t just about numbers, it’s about impact. When asked about her goals, she shared,
“My goal was to become Member of the Month with The Notary Blueprint® by being stellar in my community, not only in servicing Atlanta customers but with my fellow notary blueprint colleagues.”
And she’s done exactly that.
In the next five years, Teanna plans to step away from her 9-to-5 job and focus on growing Signature Solutions 365 full time, continuing to build her brand as a trusted mobile notary across Georgia.
Lessons and Motivation
One of the most valuable lessons Teanna has learned is the importance of resources and community support.
“Being a notary is like building a plane while flying. As much as it could be scary because of the unknown, it’s also a feeling of accomplishment. With a great notary community at your fingertips, you will only win!”
Even on slow days, she finds motivation in the impact she makes with each client.
“Some days I get only one call for a notary, but it’s okay because that one interaction leaves me feeling invigorated. My clients always say how happy and relieved they were to get their document notarized with no confusion and ease.”
Family Support and Success Habits
Behind every milestone, there’s a strong support system. Teanna credits her husband and children as her biggest cheerleaders, always encouraging her to keep going.
Her secret to success? Responsiveness and care.
“Be responsive with clients, whether it’s a call or text. I tend to get praised by clients for my quick responsiveness and patience. A lot of times, when they contact you, they’re unsure of what’s needed. I love assisting with any questions my notary clients have.”
A Milestone Moment
When asked about the most rewarding moment in her notary career so far, Teanna beams with pride:
“Reaching my financial goal for the month of October! I was so elated to know that with hard work, going door to door with hangers and doing my own marketing, I reached so many in my community.”
Her commitment to visibility and genuine connection has made Signature Solutions 365 not just a service but a name people trust.
