Founder of LVJ Notary LLC
Inside The Notary Blueprint® (TNB) Community, we're proud to spotlight Liesel Jacullo as our June Member of the Month! 💜 Based in Charolotte, North Carolina, Liesel is the owner of LVJ Notary LLC, and she is a Notary Public, Realtor®, and the Broker-in-Charge of Oak & Willow Realty. She is a woman who has spent years mastering the real estate industry and is now channeling that same expertise and drive into building a thriving notary business.
What sets Liesel apart is her ability to leverage her existing professional network, her relentless commitment to preparation, and her warm, client-first approach that leaves every signing service and every client wanting to call her again.
Outside of work, Liesel is deeply rooted in family. Her husband and mother have even stepped in as witnesses on assignments, making her notary journey a true family effort. That spirit of togetherness and dedication shows up in everything she does from the way she prepares for every signing to the way she shows up for her community every single day.

How It All Began
Liesel had been thinking about getting her notary commission for most of her real estate career but life kept getting in the way. It wasn't until a conversation with a fellow realtor friend, who shared the same desire, that Liesel finally decided to just go for it.
She received her NC Notary Commission on January 14, 2026, opened her business LVJ Notary LLC, and hasn't looked back since.
What surprised her most was the sheer breadth of what a notary commission could open up.
"I had no idea the extent that my Notary Commission could and would branch off from General Notary Work to so many other avenues of income potential. If I had known that I would have done it a very long time ago!"
In just a few short months, Liesel has already completed general notarizations, loan signings, wills, trusts, health care proxies, and field inspections with her sights set on apostille work, RON signings, and digital court reporting as her next frontiers.
Building Visibility and Trust
For Liesel, the biggest challenge in building her notary business, LVJ Notary LLC, has been breaking into a market where trust is everything. Finding new clients, getting chosen for signing assignments, and proving herself to signing services has required consistency, professionalism, and a willingness to go above and beyond every single time.
Her very first client came from a mortgage broker she already worked with in real estate which was a reminder that the relationships you already have are often the best place to start.
"Sometimes it's just being in the right place, with the right person, at the right time. Sometimes it's tooting your own horn a little so that your personal and work sphere know your skill set."
But Liesel doesn't stop at just getting the assignment. She asks for feedback. She thanks her contacts. She makes herself memorable not just by doing good work, but by communicating openly and professionally, even when things don't go perfectly.
"You don't have to be perfect, just communicate with your contact person and be as professional as possible."
Serving With Compassion
Liesel's approach to her notary business, LVJ Notary LLC, is rooted in a broad, community-centered vision. Rather than narrowing in on one niche right away, she has spent her first months exploring the full landscape of what notary work can look like and she is intentional about that.
"I have always thought that the broader your customer base creates more of an ability to assist more people and earn more money."
Liesel is building the kind of well-rounded foundation that will give her the experience to choose her niche wisely when the time comes.
Goals and Vision
Liesel's financial goals are as clear and deliberate as her preparation for every signing. She has mapped out a five-year income plan that is practical, scalable, and deeply motivating.
"My biggest goal for this first year is to average $1,000 per month. My goals for the next five years are to scale steadily, $2,000 per month in year two, $3,000 in year three, $4,000 in year four, and $5,000 per month by year five."
Her long-term vision is equally grounded to maintain her Broker-in-Charge role as her professional foundation while building her notary business into a reliable and growing second income stream.
Lessons, Motivation and Support
One of the most important lessons Liesel has taken from her notary journey so far is deceptively simple but powerful in practice.
“Be very well prepared for every assignment. Even if it seems like the same thing you did the other day read and re-read the instructions thoroughly and carefully, because many times there are little nuances that you may miss by assuming it's the same assignment as before.”
On the hard days, Liesel draws her motivation from the people around her Sierra, The Notary Blueprint® Community, and her family who have supported her every step of the way.
"Seeing that Sierra is involved in every part of TNB is definitely the glue for me. Every time I've had a question or concern, Sierra has been there with such sage information and suggestions."
The Notary Blueprint® Community
For Liesel, The Notary Blueprint® Community has been far more than a resource. It has been a home.
“I never feel like I am alone in my journey because I have everyone in the community for advice, guidance, support, and collaboration. Sierra created a phenomenal community for all notaries to come, learn, grow, advise, mentor, and just pay it forward!"
She describes The Notary Blueprint® (TNB) Community as a safe space where notaries can stumble, grow, and be celebrated and she is living proof of exactly that.
"Home doesn't have to be a place. It can be a feeling of acceptance, understanding, support, motivation, and in some instances, a little tough love given in the most gentle and caring way"
One Habit That Moves The Needle
For Liesel, staying plugged into The Notary Blueprint® Community is not just a habit, it is a cornerstone of her success.
"Keeping current with TNB has immensely contributed to my success. Reading about other situations helps me feel more in control and confident, knowing that there is a huge community out there who is ready and willing to step up and help one another. TNB is the glue that helps us all Rise & Shine!"
A Milestone Moment
When Liesel reflects on her most rewarding moment in her notary career so far, she goes straight to the most stressful assignment she has ever taken and that is no coincidence.
The signing service told her upfront that the client was very important to them. It was her most involved assignment yet, and she prepared meticulously reading the instructions over and over, flagging every document. But curveballs still came. A missed initial spot. An oath she had to quickly and quietly pivot to administer mid-signing. And then, at the very end, her mobile scanner's document tray broke.
“That was a very stressful situation but the client was great and the witnesses just amused themselves on their phones so that I could complete the assignment properly and professionally. That was definitely my most stressful assignment but also most gratifying because I was prepared, but thrown a few curveballs that I navigated as professionally as possible and for that I am very proud of myself."
