Jasmin’s notary journey started back in 2021 when she first became a commissioned notary. But like many notaries, there was a gap between getting commissioned and going all in.
This year, she took the leap and officially opened Honey & Seal, channeling years of experience and a clear vision into a business built to last.
The decision to add Spanish interpreting support to her services wasn’t just a business strategy, it was personal. Jasmin saw a gap in her community and stepped up to fill it, ensuring that language barriers would never stand between a client and the services they need.
Building Visibility and Trust
Breaking into a competitive market as a newer business owner isn’t easy, and Jasmin is the first to acknowledge it. Building visibility and establishing trust have been among her biggest challenges but she’s approached them with consistency and authenticity.
“One of the biggest challenges has been building visibility and trust in a competitive market while still being a newer business owner.”
Her early customers came through word of mouth, community connections, and a steady online presence. Over time, her approach has evolved into something more intentional and relationship-driven.
“Over time, I’ve learned that authenticity and professionalism go a long way. Now I focus more on relationship-building, community involvement, and creating educational and encouraging content that helps people understand the value of mobile notary services.”

Jasmin’s ideal client isn’t defined by a single demographic, it’s defined by a need for convenience, clear communication, and care. She has a particular heart for those who can sometimes feel overlooked by traditional service providers.
“My primary customers are busy individuals and families who value convenience, professionalism, and clear communication. I especially enjoy serving Spanish-speaking clients, seniors, parents, and those who may feel overwhelmed by language barriers.”

“I believe both are important. Having a niche helps you stand out and serve people more intentionally, while still being open to a broader customer base allows flexibility and growth. For me, being bilingual and offering interpreting support has become a meaningful part of my business and helps me better serve my community.”

Goals and Vision
Jasmin’s goals for 2026 are focused on depth before breadth by becoming a trusted name locally, strengthening her systems, and continuing to grow with excellence.
“One of my biggest goals this year is continuing to grow Honey & Seal into a trusted and recognizable business in my local community. I also want to strengthen my systems, expand my education, and continue serving clients with excellence.”
And her five-year vision goes well beyond notary appointments. Jasmin sees her notary business evolving into something that touches multiple areas of community life.
“Over the next five years, I hope to expand Honey & Seal into a lifestyle-centered business that includes notary services, interpreting, and faith-based resources that support families and community needs.”
That’s a vision with roots and reach, and she’s building toward it one signing at a time.
Lessons, Motivation and Support
One of the most grounding lessons Jasmin has carried through her journey is the reminder that consistency always outlasts the pursuit of perfection.
“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that consistency matters more than perfection. Building a business takes patience, humility, and a willingness to keep learning. Every client interaction is an opportunity to build trust and represent your business well.”
On the hard days, Jasmin draws from something deeper than motivation, she draws from purpose. Her faith, her vision, and the people who believe in her form the foundation she builds on.
“What motivates me most is knowing that I’m building something meaningful that can serve others and create long-term opportunities for my future. My faith, my vision for Honey & Seal, and the people who believe in me continue to keep me moving forward.”
