Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was inspired by conversations with her sister, who is also a notary, and decided to expand her professional path and embrace this new chapter with confidence and purpose.
Now, as a commissioned notary, she is focused on providing accurate, reliable, and client-centered service. With her strong background in entrepreneurship and administrative support, Florence brings organization, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to serving others to every notarization she completes.

How It All Began
Florence has been self-employed since 2004, first operating a 24-hour in-home daycare and later working as a shopper and driver for several companies over the past nine years. Her background reflects reliability, organization, and a strong commitment to meeting people’s needs.
Encouraged by her sister’s experience and guidance, Florence decided to take the leap and officially became commissioned as a notary in January 2026, stepping confidently into this new chapter of her professional journey.
“My sister is a notary in NY. We’ve talked a lot about it over the years. I just became commissioned in January 2026.”
Because of her sister, becoming a notary has always been a personal goal, and she is now proudly adding notary services to her growing list of professional offerings.
Landing the First Client and Building Local Visibility
Like many new notaries, Florence’s biggest challenge right now is securing her first customer. Through Kreative Business Services, she is actively building visibility, sharing her new services, and positioning herself within her community to gain that first opportunity to serve. Florence understands that every successful notary starts somewhere, and she’s committed to growing Kreative Business Services with consistency, professionalism, and a strong focus on building lasting client relationships.
“My biggest challenge right now is getting my FIRST customer. I’m preparing marketing materials now to distribute to local businesses.”
She is actively preparing marketing materials to distribute to local businesses, taking intentional steps to introduce her services and begin building strong community connections. In addition, she is researching networking opportunities, connecting with other professionals, and refining her service offerings to clearly communicate her value.
Expanding with Purpose and Vision
Florence is currently focused on growing her notary business with intention. She is laying a strong foundation and strategically planning her next steps for Kreative Business Services. She plans to expand her services by becoming a Loan Signing Agent, developing this niche as a key part of her long-term growth strategy.
“I plan to expand my line to become a loan signing agent. That’s the niche I’d like to develop further.”
By specializing in loan signings, Florence aims to build advanced expertise, increase her earning potential, and position Kreative Business Services for consistent, professional opportunities within the real estate and lending industries. She is committed to ongoing education, sharpening her skills, and building relationships with title companies and signing services to ensure she delivers accurate, reliable, and high-quality signings every time.
Goals and Growth
This year, Florence’s focus is simple and intentional. She is committed to building a strong foundation for her notary business, gaining hands-on experience, and strengthening her confidence with each appointment. She plans to increase visibility in her community, continue her professional development, and steadily grow her client base. Rather than rushing the process, Florence is choosing consistency, preparation, and purpose as she establishes herself in the notary industry.
“This year, my short term goal is to get customers. In the next five years, my long term goal is to expand customer base between two neighboring states.”
Looking ahead five years, she envisions expanding her customer base across two neighboring states, growing her reach and establishing a strong, multi-state presence. Florence plans to build a recognized and trusted brand known for professionalism, reliability, and exceptional client care under Kreative Business Services. Ultimately, her long-term vision is to build a thriving notary enterprise that not only supports her goals but also creates a lasting impact in the communities she serves.
Lessons, Motivation and Support
One of the biggest lessons Florence has learned is that, like any new business, you have to invest before you can truly grow. She understands that investing in education, certifications, marketing, and the right tools is essential to building credibility and long-term success. Rather than viewing these as expenses, she sees them as strategic steps toward positioning herself as a knowledgeable and prepared professional.
“As with any new business, you have to spend money in order to make money later. Finding the right tools at the right price and navigating through the many articles, opinions, etc. and defining what works best for you is probably the biggest lesson.”
